hey everyone. does anybody like John Saul? I think he's a great author. i just finished reading the manhattan hunt club. it is great. it's about these people who take criminals out of jail and hunt them in the subway tunnels. a lot of people are involved in that that you wouldn't think would be. i definitely recommend it.
I've only read one of his books, shadows, and that was good. Perhaps I'll check the Manhattan gun club out. If u r not familiar with shadows, it's a storry about a school for gifted children. Slowly, the gifted children keep dying either do to suicides or accidents. But it's really the school that is orkistrating all of this. I won't say anymore because I don't want to give the entire plot away. I'd definatly recommend that book if u haven't read it already.
I love John Saul, but I've only read one book by him from the library for the blind. I think the name of it was second child. It was about this rather timid sort of homely girl, who her stepmother was mean to, and her class mates were cruel to her, and there was a cousin who caused as much trouble as she could for her. It was a long time since I read that book, but it was good from what I can remember. I don't know if it's still available or not, being that it's a few years old.

i've read both of those. and another book by him that is good is called the homing. it's about these killer bees that try to take over the people in the story. really out there, but a great read.
I hope I can read the homing and the other book, already forgotten the name. Maybe when my request list gets down low enough. They both sound like good books. Can't wait till Christmas, because mom took me in a bookstore so I could pick out a couple of tape books. And I picked out 2 books by dean Koontz, the bad place, and the taking, so I'll be able to talk about them arround christmas when i start reading them.
